We're Back...

Alright, it only took me a week to get my new spring themed blog in place. Now if I can stay on top of blogging about the current events in our family I'll be on top of things. It seems that life is passing by so fast.  In the midst of a busy schedule I'm really trying to slow down and treasure each small, but priceless new feat that Brody accomplishes on a daily basis. Brody is now crawling EVERYWHERE and is VERY active.  This kid loves to eat anything and everything. We are looking forward to spending spring break with Granny B and Grandad in Frisco.  Paul started a new job in January at Securian Advisors MidAmerica doing financial advising while also training again to play football in Canada beginning this summer. We can't wait for Spring and consistent nice weather so we can enjoy the outdoors. Here are a few recent pics. Enjoy!

Give thanks to the Lord for he is good; His love endures forever!

Whew...bye bye football season

This fall seemed like a whirlwind. Brody got his first glimpse of being born into a football family and mom and dad got their fair share of football too but we wouldn't trade it for the world.   Most weekends consisted of Friday nights watching the Bartlesville Bruins and Saturdays were spent cheering on the Golden Hurricane if they were playing in town. Brody did great at the games....he was mesmerized by all the sounds and lights and he never once slept more than 5 minutes at a game. This past Saturday at the TU game Brody wore his #12 Tulsa jersey for the first time.  I was pretty bummed that I just realized it fit him.  It's a 12 month jersey and I thought surely it was too big but to my surprise it fit almost perfectly. Paul was a pretty proud daddy.  Here are a few pics from the game---

Happy Halloween!

We stopped by Grammie's house...
The Cowboy, Lamb, and Princess
Brody and Palmer
 And they all fall down...

Carmichael's Pumpkin Patch

We had such a fun time going to Carmichael's Pumpkin Patch in Bixby.  When we arrived Brody was asleep but he woke up very quickly once he saw all the animals there.  Brody loves textures and touching so of course he loved petting them.  He did have an unfortunate first time encounter with a baby goat.  Brody reached through the fence to pet the goat on his nose and the goat bit his finger!

The ornery goat.
About to get bit.....

Good Times

Friday night Jeff, Alex, and Palmer Lamb came over for dinner and fun.  The boys were so cute.  As you can see below they were very aware of each other! This was the first time they really interacted.  By interacting I mean hitting, kicking, and rolling over on one another :)

Growing Boy!

Brody will be six months old tomorrow. Oh how time flies. I feel sad in a way but it's also very rewarding watching him learn and grow everyday. He can almost sit up all by himself and his two bottom teeth broke through last week. Brody has tried peas, sweet potatoes, and squash and loves them all. As you can see he doesn't pass up food.
