Good Times

Friday night Jeff, Alex, and Palmer Lamb came over for dinner and fun.  The boys were so cute.  As you can see below they were very aware of each other! This was the first time they really interacted.  By interacting I mean hitting, kicking, and rolling over on one another :)

Growing Boy!

Brody will be six months old tomorrow. Oh how time flies. I feel sad in a way but it's also very rewarding watching him learn and grow everyday. He can almost sit up all by himself and his two bottom teeth broke through last week. Brody has tried peas, sweet potatoes, and squash and loves them all. As you can see he doesn't pass up food.

Alright, this picture cracks me up. Brody had just graced us with his worst blow out ever and he starts giving me grins as I'm frantically trying to clean him up. Oh by the way, I was at my mom's house and it took three people to clean up the nastiness.

Monday morning after Brody had his breakfast I put him in his jumper in the living room. Paul was getting ready for the day in the bathroom and I had walked in our bedroom to ask him a question. As I came back into the living room and rounded the corner I looked up and saw Brody resting his head on the pad of the seat. Panicked, I hurried over to him and yelled "Brody, Brody!" To his agitation he looked up at me as if to say, seriously mom, why are you being so annoying and did you have to wake me up so abruptly? I apparently woke him up from his peaceful nap in the jumper. Funny thing is he fell asleep in it again while we were playing later that afternoon. What a silly boy!

This morning I was determined to get some good family pics. So after we got home from church Paul got the tripod out and we set the custom timer...again and again and again..... We took quite a few pics.... thankfully Brody cooperated the whole time! I was pleasantly surprised with the turnout. Here's well... just a few ;)

We had some issues getting Brody to look at the camera... haven't mastered it yet.

Baby's Best Friend!

As most of you know our first born (per Paul) is a boxer named Zoey. Throughout my pregnancy we were most excited about the idea of Zoey loving and protecting Brody and them becoming best buds. We couldn't wait to see them interact. To our dismay we quickly realized that Zoey could not have cared less about her brother. Brody is now almost five months old and yes, Zoey is more aware but she still goes about her own business most of the time. BUT, last night was the break through we have been waiting for. We made Zoey lay on the ground next to Brody and sat Brody by her side. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen! Brody was so intrigued by this new creature he had just discovered. It was almost as if Brody had seen Zoey for the first time. Zoey just wouldn't stop licking him. Here are a few pictures that I'll cherish forever :)

Hello Blogging World

Well today, after being inspired by the blogs of a few friends, I decided to dive into the wonderful world of blogging. I will already apologize for my boring page.... I just can't quit figure this thing out. It's still a work in progress. I guess I should just be lucky that a picture ended up on the page :) I've always enjoyed journaling and thought this would be a great way to share what our family is up to and for the world to see our little Brody as he grows up.
